I love watching the plants on my balcony, as subtle dramas play out in the shared flower pots. Some plants thrive and others struggle as they react to their environment.

Today I was struck by a pot where I’ve put both oregano and thyme. I thought they would grow well together, and in a way they did. The only thing is that they grow differently and if you don’t look closely, it can seem like the thyme…
